Interested in the Hospitality Industry?

I am approaching graduation, after spending the last 4 years in the Hospitality & Tourism Management Program at San Diego State University. The L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality & Tourism Management is among the top ranked Hospitality Programs in the nation, and I am confident that it has prepared me to be successful in the Hospitality Industry.

The best part of the HTM program at San Diego State University is that we learn from the best. We learn from industry professionals who are passionate about what they are teaching us. Our guest speakers are industry professionals, General Manager and CEO’s of major hotel chains and more.

Another great aspect of the program is that two internships are required. One that most everyone is required to do is work at a hotel. The second is one that relates more to your emphasis, mine being Meetings and Events. This is GREAT experience. The program also has a great relationship with many organizations the Hospitality Industry in San Diego, giving the students many connections.
