Global Sales Meeting
The 2021 Illumina Global Sales Meeting was hosted in a 3-D virtual environment using the Intrado platform. A successful virtual event was accomplished by engaging the global team through top notch content, entertainment and engagement. By offering a variety of virtual experiences including a Content Theater, a Poster Session, a Networking Lounge and Resource Center the event received great attendee feedback. Over 2,100 attendees were broken out between four 3-day regional meeting dates, spanning a total timeframe of 2-weeks. Each region had a local start time of 9:00 AM, engaging in live & semi-live content, with a 3-day General Session and two days of workshops.
United Way of San Diego
Centennial Gala
Before the Covid-19 pandemic hit the United States, the United Way of San Diego was busy planning a gala for their centennial year. As the possibility lessened for an in-person event in 2020, our team swiftly assisted in shifting their event and concept to a virtual celebration.
Utilizing local production partners and enacting social distancing precautions, the team was able to execute a beautifully produced in-studio broadcast and livestream to over 100+ attendees. The engaging hosts and distinguished community members were able to reflect on important issues and fundraise to still meet goals set for the year. The Right Hand Events team assisted with finding the proper fundraising solution, offering creative ideas to recognize sponsors, managed vendors, and executed overall event logistics.
Kaiser Permanente Clairemont Mesa Medical Offices
Virtual Grand Opening
Right Hand Events worked with the Kaiser Permanente team to create a virtual Grand Opening celebration of their new Clairemont Mesa Medical Office Building. The Grand Opening included a welcome and program from their senior leadership team, a beautiful recorded virtual tour of the new Clairemont Mesa Medical Office Building, ribbon cutting ceremonies, and wellness activity, all while maintaining socially distant protocols. The Right Hand Events team assisted with the concept and run-of-show, managed video production, oversaw filming, assisted with registration, and overall logistics.
Moishe House
International Virtual Celebration
Right Hand Events worked with Moishe House to take their international event virtual. Couch Con 2020 engaged staff, community members, and residents across multiple time zones for a 14 hour long event. The event consisted of a combination of general sessions and breakouts streamed over zoom for 500+ attendees.
The Right Hand Events team managed production, assisted speakers, oversaw creative timelines, and executed overall event logistics. Some elements of the event included an awards ceremony, commercial breaks, dance party, scavenger hunt, and a jeopardy style game.
PETCO Animal Supplies Stores, Inc.
Store Leaders Summit
Right Hand Events has worked side by side with the PETCO team on their Leadership Summit for the last 3 years. Our team has coordinated this event at three venues: The San Diego Convention Center, The Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA and The Gaylord National in Washington, DC. We assist in coordinating the detailed logistics of registration, the event’s mobile app, managing sponsors, handling food and beverage needs, and providing on-site staffing.
Thermo Fisher Scientific
America’s Commercial Sales Meeting
Right Hand Events joined the Thermo Fisher team to assist with managing a 1,600 person sales meeting at the Gaylord National Convention Center in Washington, DC. Our team executed every aspect of the event registration process starting with the online platform (Cvent) which included rooming management with shared accommodations and air travel coordination, and ending with on-site badge printing and registration staff management. In addition, we managed the important details of food and beverage coordination and meal planning, meeting space assignments and diagrams, and provided a strong team of Conference Staff to ensure a flawless conference experience.

International Citywide Conference
Right Hand Events has been a part of the SME team since the event’s first year in 2013, offering full service conference management solutions. Starting with site selection and venue contracting, we handle all of the important details including rooming management, production management, trade show exhibition management, volunteer and staffing management, offsite events, and project management. This frees the rest of the SME team up to focus on their larger event goals, and the day to day work. We are honored to be part of this exciting 3-day convention at the San Diego Convention Center.
Natural High Gala
Annual Fundraiser
Nonprofit galas raise vital funds for great causes, but they take an enormous amount of time and attention to detail to be successful. Since 2012, Right Hand Events has worked side by side with Natural High’s staff to plan their Annual Gala which raises over $250k annually to inspire and empower youth to find their ‘natural high.’ Our goal is to handle every logistical detail so that their staff can focus on what’s most important – their donors. Starting with venue selection and contract negotiation, through theme and decor, auction and registration management, and on-site execution, we are truly Natural High’s right hand team handling every aspect of project management for a flawless event.
